In a now-trending video on social media, a CCTV camera caught the moment the helicopter crashed, bursting into flames immediately. Police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirming the incident via his Twitter handle, Tuesday, disclosed that the pilot and co-pilot of the helicopter had been evacuated from the crash site and taken to a hospital. He tweeted: "ONGOING: @LagosPoliceNG CP Idowu Owohunwa at the site, on Oba Akran Avenue, Ikeja, where a light aircraft crash landed. "Pilot and co-pilot have been evacuated to a medical facility. The situation is under control as evacuation is almost complete."
